Candy’s Creek Cherokee Elementary reveals new expansion
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Cleveland City school is expanding.
Candy’s Creek Cherokee Elementary school had their grand expansion today.
The new additions include multiple new classrooms that will be able to be used by all grades and special ed.
The school was in need of expansion.
Some classes, like the art class, had to use part of the gym for learning.
This expansion will allow students and teachers a designated room for learning.
“We like to have our teachers in the spaces that they are supposed to be in. They need the spaces and resources to be able to teach to the best of their ability and meet the needs of their students. We appreciate the opportunity to have the appropriate space for our teachers and students moving forward.”

The new expansion and all new rooms will be able to hold around 80 additional students.
